Amazon Server Outage Takes Down Shopping Site, Prime Video And More
Amazon.com Inc. services include Amazon Web Services (AWS), the main videos and e-commerce websites are fell for thousands of users on Tuesday, according to the OUTTACTOR.com OUTAGE tracking website.
Downdetector, which shows more than 14,000 incidents of people who report problems with Amazon, track blackouts by compiling status reports from a number of sources, including errors delivered by users on the platform.
The blackout might affect the number of larger users.
“We have a problem of fire and consoles in the As-East-1 region,” Amazon said in a report about the health dashboard service, adding that it has identified the cause and works to solve the problem.
This will be the third blackout for the company this year.
In June, users experience brief blackouts about the Amazon platform, including Alexa and the main video, before the service is restored. In July Behemoth e-commerce experienced disruption to its online store services, which lasted for almost two hours and affected more than 38,000 users.
