Caught On Camera: Stunning Moment Avalanche Hurtles Towards Tourists During Kyrgyzstan Trek

A group of British and American tourists survived the snow avalanche in the Mountains of Tian Shen Kirgistan. Snow sweeps them, according to the recordings posted on social media by one of the tourists. The avalanche was caused by a collapsed glacier on the mountain where they hiking. This group includes nine British and one American tourists, according to The Guardian. All tourists survived the avalanche of snow even though a woman cut her knees and was rushed to the hospital closest to a horse.
Records of the ice avalanche that slid towards the group were captured by Harry Shimmin, one of the tourists who had broken away from a guided tour to take photos.

“When I took a picture, I heard the sound of a deep ice behind me. I knew that other group members were further than snow avalanche so it should be fine,” he said on Instagram all posted a snow avalanche video.

The tourist said that he had been there for a few minutes “so I knew there was a place to take shelter right next to me.”

He said that if the group was running five minutes further on the way, “We will all die”.

“Once it ended adrenaline, rushed to hit me hard. I was only covered with light powder, without scratches. I felt dizzy,” said Mr. Shimmins further.

After surviving the incident, the whole group laughed and cried, said Mr. Shimmins, added, “Then we realized how lucky we were.”

The video, uploaded only a day ago, was seen more than 1,86,000 times. It is always posted on Reddit where the video has received more than 88,000 votes.
