The protesters who opposed the Russian-Ukraine War threw red paint to the Russian ambassador to Poland and stopped him to pay tribute to the army died during World War II. The Polish government faces criticism because it does not provide sufficient security for diplomats.

Ambassador Sergey Andreev has reached the funeral of Soviet army in Warsaw to put a bouquet of flowers to mark the day of victory. The Andreev video clip was beaten with paint being widely shared on social media.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Maria Zakharova condemned Andreev’s attack and said that Russia would not be intimidated by the incident.”Neo-Nazi admirers once again show their faces,” Zakharova said, adding that the attack reflects ‘the course for reincarnation of fascism’.

The day of victory, which commemorates the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany in World War II, is celebrated with a great splendor with a parade on Moscow’s red field.
