Viral Video: Sea Lions Chase Away Beachgoers in San Diego

Two Sea Lions expelled a group of people on a beach in the La Jolla area in San Diego, according to a report at NBC San Diego. The incident video circulated on social media platforms and showed that coastal visitors escaped the approaching animal.
The coast guard stood on the beach and made sure no one was injured. They also helped the sea lion to leave the beach safely.

The video was recorded and uploaded to Tiktok by Charlianne Yeyna, who was present in the area when the incident occurred. He told NBC that a sea lion was sleeping, but one of the women on the beach was “too close” to click on photos. “They then wake up and start chasing people,” said MS Yeyna.

“I began to record because it was funny to watch, seeing all these tourists fascinated by this giant sea lion,” he said further.

Lions sea is an extraordinary creature and their video gets a big hit on the internet. A few days ago, a sea lion video gave a bright smile outside the pool created a buzz on Twitter.

This video was shared by Buitengebieden on Twitter, and received more than 2.1 million appearance and more than 79,000 like. The video was tweeted by more than 7,000 users.

External ear flap, long foreflippers, the ability to move by crawling is a distinguishing feature of sea lions. They also have short and solid hair, and large chest and stomach.

Lion sea is a member of the Otariidae family, who also includes fur seals. There are six species today and one species of extinct in each of the five genera (Japanese sea lions).
