‘Family Reunion’ Season 5: Everything We Know So Far About The Final Season
The family reunion will return for the last season on Netflix. Making films is now ongoing in multi-cam sitcom. Although technically the third season of the show, because of the way the event was released to Netflix, we will refer it as the fifth season. This is what we know so far.
Made by Meg Deloatch, this series debut first on Netflix in July 2019 and has been released to Netflix for 5 parts (one of which is special Christmas) with 7 episodes that landed the most on August 2021. Reunion Family perfected a number of awards and nominations of awards including nominations Emmy primetime.
So let’s run through some of the key announcements that came from the renewal back in October 2021:
- The show has been given a 10-episode final season order – we’re expecting these to drop all at once or in two halves.
- Adrienne Carter and Arthur Harris, who wrote on previous seasons, have been promoted to showrunners and executive producer.
- Meg DeLoatch will still be involved with the show as an executive producer.
- Loretta Devine, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Richard Roundtree, Anthony Alabi, Talia Jackson, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Cameron J. Wright, and Jordyn Raya James are all set to return.
How well has Family Reunion performed on Netflix top 10s?
Thanks to Netflix Top 10, we can get good insight into where the show does the best.
According to FlixPatrol, this show only managed to spend 19 days at Netflix US TV Top 10 and 11 days on TV Top TV UK. The event was indeed performing well in countries such as Jamaica, Finland, Denmark and South Africa.
Where is Family Reunion season 5 in production?
Again, filming in the fifth season took place in Los Angeles, California. Specifically took place at Paramount Studios – Gower structure at 801 N Gower St.
Film Making Reported will begin on February 28 but not until March 1 to Anthony
Filmmaking is expected to wrap at the end of May 2022. In particular, we were told that the show would wrap on May 27 but it could change.
Various insights reported that this show had a budget of $ 2- $ 3 million per episode.
