Punjab election: Dera Sacha Sauda may spoil poll math in Malwa
It is not common for traditional parties to open the electoral office, but they do this this time. Place near the Congress Office at Fatehgarh Sahib and Malerkotla, and sad offices in Rajpura and sanaur, a group of people who usually exist for tea and lunch as party workers, after a short chat, confirming the current political taste is for “change”.
Ordinary people – whether it’s Dalit, farmers, Hindus, middle class Sikhs or they are below the poverty line – in Malwa, considers Punjab backwaters, confused because of the political scenario, often spinning with the leaders of the area shift loyalty overnight. But the general keyword this time is about “sound for change”.
The story of the sordid from damaged promises, an unfavenance announcement for decades was reflected in the presence of strong AAP candidates in the field. With BJP interesting all stops to seduce his traditional voice bank in cities, Malwa can make some results that are close but surprisingly.
“It has been more than 50 years of government by two traditional parties in Punjab, and still has civil facilities, cancer death and even an agricultural suicide usually occur. Let’s try the third option,” said Nikita Dhawan, a first time voter in the Ferozepur border district.
The three faces of the head of minister in Punjab were locked in battle in Malwa, underlining the importance of the area – Bhagwant Mann AAP fighting from Dhuri, Chararjit Congress Singh Channi was in Medan from the second seat Bhadaur and Sukhbir Akali Dal from Jalalabad. Even the Head of the Punjab Lok Congress, former CM CPT Amarinder Singh, fought his fortress from Patiala.
“Apart from organizational and political mistakes, AAP has emerged as a substantial player in the politics of the country’s election. It does not also have a network of organizations whose organizations or traditional cadres such as the Congress. This is the reliable silence of AAP and who collect BJP trio, sad and congress,” said A political analyst.
Land support in 2017 has given reason AAP to dream of drawing impossible victory. Parties, however, must be satisfied with only 18 of 69 seats in the region. But it’s enough to go ahead of SAD-BJP, which only won eight seats. Congress won 40 seats in Malwa alone, driving the popularity of captain Amarinder Singh.
“Mishandling” from the probe into the Sacrile 2015 incident has copied the party’s image, and is sad and AAP is eyeing profits. The captain Amarinder floated his own party in understanding with BJP only made a worse problem for Congress.
