New Delhi: Former Law Minister of Ashwani Kumar on Tuesday (February 15, 2022) stopped the Congress after the 46-year Association and stated that the party had lost touch with the ground.

Kumar sent his resignation to the Congress of President Sonia Gandhi and became the last leader to stop due to dissatisfaction with party leadership.

“After considering my consideration to him, I have concluded that in the current and consistent situation with my dignity, I can provide a larger national cause outside the party’s folds,” said the former MP Rajya Sabha in his resignation letter.

“I deliberately stopped at a party after a 46-year-old association and hoped to proactively pursue the public causes inspired by the idea of transformative leadership, based on the promise of a divitrician from liberal democracy imagined by our freedom fighters,” he added.
